Harold Haberlein, 88, of Kansas City, KS, passed on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at the Manor Care of Overland Park. Funeral Services will be 6:00 PM Tuesday, July 13, at the Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave. Kansas City, KS Friends may call 4-6:00 PM Tuesday at the Porter Funeral Home. Burial will be in Long Prairie, Minnesota.

Harold was born February 4, 1922, in Long Prairie, Minnesota. Harold served in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Eagles Wyandotte #87 and Carpenters Local #168. He was a carpenter for 30 years for Universal Construction Company retiring in 1984. He was preceded in death by his wife Mary Lou Haberlein, and 2 sons Marvin and Robert Haberlein. He is survived by 4 children; Joseph William Haberlein, Gary Haberlein, Barbara Laytham, Don Haberlein, 18 grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
