Daniel A Rawoot, lovingly known as “Koko” by his nephews, passed away on July 4, 2026, at the age of 25. Born on July 30, 2000, in St. Joseph, Missouri, Daniel brought light, laughter, and love to everyone fortunate enough to know him. He later made his home in Kansas City, Missouri, where he continued to build relationships and leave a lasting impact on those around him.
Daniel had a personality that was larger than life. He had a special gift for making people laugh and could brighten any room with his humor, his playful spirit, and his ornery sense of fun. He was known for giving the best hugs, calling people random names that somehow became terms of endearment, and making everyone feel welcomed and loved. His kindness and genuine heart made him someone people naturally gravitated toward.
His family and friends meant everything to Daniel. He was deeply protective of the people he loved and cared for them with his whole heart. His nephews adored their Koko, and he had a special way of connecting with everyone around him because of his gentle, loving, and welcoming spirit. Whether he was spending time with family, making memories with friends, or working hard toward his goals at the gym, Daniel had a way of making people feel seen, valued, and loved. His presence brought comfort, laughter, and joy to those fortunate enough to know him.
Daniel was passionate about taking care of himself and worked hard toward his health and fitness goals. He loved going to the gym every day and was dedicated to becoming the best version of himself. He was always focused on his next protein-filled meal and enjoyed some of his favorite foods, especially Chipotle, steak, and chicken. Daniel also had a love for adventure and traveling, and he was excited about the many trips and memories he hoped to make in the future.
Daniel’s life was a blessing to many. His joy, humor, compassion, and unforgettable personality will continue to live on in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved him. Though his time on earth was far too short, the love he gave and the memories he created will remain forever.
We find comfort knowing that Daniel is now at peace in the presence of the Lord. His faith, his love, and the impact he made on others are reminders that a life’s measure is not only in the years lived, but in the love shared and the lives touched.
Daniel was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roger and Elladean Sutton, and several aunts, uncles and cousins. He leaves behind his mother, Sharon Cummins; his father, Anjum Rawoot; his sister, Hannah Jundy; his brother-in-law, Bryan Jundy; and his beloved nephews, Ayden Jundy, Ryder Jundy, and Gabriel Jundy.
