Dessa Darlene Barbarich, age 83, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 14, 1976, in Orlando, Florida, surrounded by her loving family.

Dessa lived a life full of warmth, kindness, and quiet strength. She devoted many years of her career to medical accounting, where her diligence and integrity earned the respect of colleagues and friends alike. She also spent time working with Disney, an experience that reflected her joyful spirit and love for bringing happiness to others.

At home, Dessa’s heart truly shined. She had a deep love for animals, especially her cherished pet dogs, who were constant companions and a source of great joy in her life. She was an incredible cook, known for preparing meals that brought family and friends together, and an unforgettable storyteller whose words could captivate any room. Her stories, laughter, and love created lasting memories for all who knew her.

Dessa also had a passion for travel, with a special fondness for Alaska. She found beauty and peace in its landscapes, and her adventures there were among her most treasured experiences.

Above all, Dessa will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. She touched many lives with her compassion, generosity, and gentle spirit. She was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed.

She is survived by her Sister, Sheri; Brother, Gene; Son, Steven; her daughter-in-law, Heather; and her two beloved grandchildren, who carry forward her legacy of love and kindness.

Dessa’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
