Gail Caldwell, born June 23, 1944, to Harold and Eileen Rose (Kirk) Caldwell, passed away on Monday, December 29, 2025, at the age of 81.

Gail’s home was filled with quotes she had jotted down over the years—words that reflected the values she lived by: embracing life with joy and purpose, and living without regrets. 

True to who she was, she remained fiercely independent to the very end, insisting on doing for herself for as long as she possibly could, even when others told her she couldn’t.

A celebration will be held to celebrate Gail’s life at 1:30-3:00 PM Tuesday, January 6, at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia, Lenexa,  KS 66215.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Red Cross or the ASPCA in Gail's honor.
