Freddy was born in Kansas City, MO on October 30, 1956. He passed peacefully in his sleep on

June 24, 2025. He has resided for the last 15 years in Olathe, Kansas.

Freddy was a delight to many. He lived in a group home managed by Ablelight. He was loved by

his housemates and staff. He loved Danielle’s cooking, especially cheeseburgers and fries. He

loved having fancy coffees, milkshakes and cookies. He enjoyed being outside, checking the mail

and walking to the corner and back.

He carried his trusty backpack with him everywhere he went. It usually had his favorite items in

it, which were bow􀆟es, books, cars and Freddy the teddy bear.

He a􀆩ended Day services at Lake Mary Center and had lots of friends in his suite. He was loved

by his staff there and always brought a smile to the face of anyone who met him.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Virginia Hisken.

There will be a Celebra􀆟on of his Life at Overland Park Chris􀆟an Church at 7600 W. 75th Street,

Overland Park, KS on July 1st at 4pm.
