Jo Anne Wills, age 85, of Newport Beach, California, passed away peacefully on May 21st, 2026 in Lenexa, Kansas.

Born on April 25th, 1941 in Santa Monica, California, Jo Anne was the daughter of Joseph Murray Druliner and Mary Gertrude Joyce. She graduated from Corvallis High School in 1958.

She met the love of her life, John 'Jack' Lee Wills, as teenagers on the beach of Santa Catalina Island. It was love at first sight. They married at Saint Charles, Catholic church and raising their family in Corona del Mar. Jo Anne later purchased a second home on Santa Catalina island which became a cherished sanctuary for both of them. 

Together, they traveled the world, visiting Italy, Bora Bora, Hawaii, Australia, Tahiti, and many other destinations. A devoted homemaker and lifelong member of Our Lady Queen of Angels, Catholic Church in Newport Beach, she served as sacristan for many years and was deeply involved in the parish school. Her life revolved around her faith, family, and friends. She enjoyed tap dancing, taught self-esteem classes, tended her beloved rose garden, and took great pride in refinishing antique furniture. She cherished every moment with her ten grandchildren, whom she helped raise and profoundly influenced, and loved hosting family and friends—especially her lively Fourth of July parties at the island house. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Jack at Avalon Memorial Cemetery on Santa Catalina Island.

She will be remembered for her love, generosity, and quiet spirituality. Her presence left a lasting and positive impact on all who knew her.

Jo Anne is preceded in death by her parents,  Joseph Murray Druliner and Mary Gertrude Joyce her brother, Michael Druliner, Sister, Mary Kinne.

Those left to cherish her memories are her sister Patty Card, her brothers Bob Druliner and Jim Druliner; their three children, John Wills (Becky), Linda Wills, Jennifer Wills (Mike), and their 10 grandchildren, Jacquelyn Wolfslau (Curtis), John Wills, Daniel Wills, Chile Wills, Dean Berg, Dominic Cattaneo, Michael Cattaneo, Joseph Cattaneo, Brooke Cattaneo, Robert Cattaneo and 1 great grandchild Carson Jack Cattaneo and many friends and extended family.
