Nancy was my dear friend of almost 65 years. She was so many things to so many people: kind, thoughtful, selfless, generous, modest, and stoic. Nancy was the cog of our little high-school group (the committee) and, through her meticulous planning, led us on several girls' trips. We laughed, explored, and (occasionally) misbehaved. Her beautiful smile would light up the room. Nancy fought a valiant fight, never complaining or feeling sorry for herself. I am heartbroken but eternally grateful for her love and friendship. Soar with the angels, my friend. You will forever live in my heart.
