Mar 17, 1990---May 14, 2026

Patric Stephen Wilson, 36, of Parkville, passed away on May 14, 2026.

Patric was born on March 17, 1990, to Lisa C. Wagner and Christopher S. Wilson on St. Patrick’s Day. He graduated from Platte County High School in 2008. Following in his father’s footsteps Patric became an electrician and took great pride in his work, often working side by side with his dad each day.

Patric was a devoted Christian who deeply studied the Bible and lived his faith daily. He was happiest spending time with family while enjoying the things he loved most — fishing, wakeboarding, and visiting his favorite restaurant, The Branding Iron, at the Lake of the Ozarks. He was also known for joking about sneaking away for Andy's Frozen Custard.

Patric was incredibly intelligent with a quick-witted sense of humor. He had a passion for music and was proficient playing guitar and drums. He loved to cook and rarely chose to eat out. In his free time, he enjoyed working on his rental properties and took exceptional pride in maintaining his home and yard. While residing in Excelsior Springs, he was known for having the nicest yard in the neighborhood and would often mow his neighbors’ lawns simply out of kindness.

Patric was preceded in death by his grandmother, Clara Nadine Cardwell, and great-grandparents Richard and Florine Lightfoot, and Bill and Ruth Wilson and his family dog, Choco.

He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa and Martin Wagner; his father and stepmother, Chris and Anna Wilson; his sister and brother-in-law, Brianna and Mark Carey; his sister, JoLynn Wilson; his stepbrother, Dominick Valencia; his stepbrother and sister-in-law, Carlos Valencia and Ashley Campos; his nephew, Remington Carey; his niece, Catriona Carey; his grandmother and step grandfather, Sharon Lightfoot and Jack Thurman; and his grandfather and step grandmother, John and Sherry Wilson and his favorite pets, Duke and Daisy.

Patric will be remembered for his strong faith, hardworking spirit, generous heart, love for family, and the joy he found in life’s simple moments. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Patric and the time we’ve spent together, it’s what comes to mind when I think about growing up. I think Patric went through just about everything you can go through while you’re growing up. All of the adventures, all of the mistakes, and everything in between. we’ve literally climbed mountains together, we’ve gotten lost in the woods more times than I can count and found magic all along the way. To say I will miss Patric falls short of the loss. I feel in my heart. I love him, I love all of you. I owe all of you so much, Lisa – do you remember saving he and I from Parkville at three in the morning because we got caught trespassing? The adventures. they don’t stop here, though, thanks to his abundance of bravery and love – I can carry him into every adventure I will ever find myself in for the rest of my life.
