I'm really going to miss Aunt Pat. Her sense of humor was wonderful. Her stories were endless. We shared our love of St Teresa's Academy highschool. Her stories about my Grandma Ferris were hysterical. Loved that lady.

Pat was a dear friend and confidante who had a wonderful sense of humor and love of life. She was involved in many activities including playing tennis until she was 80, playing bridge, volunteering at a soup kitchen and several years of volunteering in the Saint Luke's South Hospital gift shop. She, also, liked playing games with friends, going to the casino and she loved telling stories. Pat was a super lady and will be dearly missed.

Pat Farris was a witty, friendly woman. Pat played sequence monthly at different friends homes until sometime in 2018. She kept us entertained. She worked at St. Luke's gift shop and I visited her there every time I needed to go there.

Pat was one of my clients at Paul Mitchell, I absolutely loved doing her hair and hearing all her stories. My heart breaks to know this but I know she had such an amazing life. Prayers to her family!

Long-time friend from St. Luke’s South Hospital ,Overland Park ,Kansas

Pat and I have been friends for several years now. When I met her, she was volunteering in the St. Luke’s South Hospital gift shop, as an auxiliary member, which she did before I even started working at SLSH in the medical staff office. We became fast friends because her humor and wit drew me to her immediately! Pat was the same age as my own mother, who now lives with me. We began sharing birthday greetings, because we were both born in June, then shared birthday lunches together. I received thank you notes from Pat for absolutely every single kindness I ever extended to her - but, it wasn’t just me, everyone she knew and loved got one! Lunches with Pat were the most enjoyable ones I ever had with any friend I have ever had. Her family stories were mostly humorous, and I loved the time I spent with her, as did my mother, Ruth! I am thankful for knowing you, Pat Ferris. I miss that you were gone before I could say goodbye!
