She spent her entire career in the banking system at numerous banks across Kansas City as an administrative assistant retiring from Mission Bank in 2008. All her life was devoted to her immediate and extended family. She took great joy in giving to her family. She never missed a birthday, anniversary, or any life event of significance. She always made a point to make life better for everyone around her. We are terribly saddened by our loss. We lost our matriarch, grandma, sister, aunt, and friend. The mother that every child in the world needs. She made all of us want to be a better person.
Our loving parents recently celebrated 60 years of marriage on February 27, 2025 and experienced many wonderful years together raising our family. In a world filled with human atrocities, our mother advocated love, forgiveness, and second chances. She would always say “I am going to hug the meanness out of you!” The unconditional love she gave made us accountable to be a better person.
She would always repeat this saying from her mother- “Before you judge someone, walk a mile in their shoes.”
With great love to everyone lucky enough to have our mother in your life, We lost our Butterfly!
We love everyone, thank you for being in our lives!
