Sincere condolences. May you find comfort in God because he promises at Psalms 9:9 "He will become a sincere refuge in times of distress”. Respectfully,

Friend ,Fairway ,Kansas

Clarence was a loyal friend to my family for many years. His friendship with my mother, Ima D. Pool Wright began during his years at the Missouri Military Academy in Mexico, MO, her home town. Clarence and Mary's friendship continued in Kansas City both personally and professionally. For many years, Clarence faithfully provided expert insurance service and advice. Clarence and Mary were long-time "besties" for our parents, Bob and Ima D., before the term became popular. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant. Our sincere condolences to Virginia, David and their families.

Renters ,Kansas City ,Missouri

In the late 1950's & early 1960's my 1st husband & I RENTED a lovely old home at 1024 LaFayette (I think) from the Merrill's. We were a very young married couple. We lived next door the Clarence & Mary. I often wondered where & how they were. They were so wonderful to us. I think we were there when we had our 1st born children. Russell Oct 2, 1957 Ronald dec 29, 1959 . My husband, Floyd Ham & his father had a small grocery store just west & a little south. Community Market. We had 3 more children. How I wish I'd stayed in touch with them. I was pretty busy in those days. I'm writing this to tell their family what wonderful people they were & if anyone deserves a Heavenly Home it would be the Merrells. I now live in the KC Northland , Floyd died in 2001. We have 11 grandchildren & 14 Great Grands with another on the way!. A few yrs ago I tried to take a few of my grandkids by the houses & they are both gone. that made me Sad. Peace be with you, Judy Lane
