Oct 10, 1951---Jun 23, 2019

Dennis Charles Paterson, 67, Lenexa KS, formerly of Kansas City, Kansas passed away Sunday June 23, 2019 at home with family at bedside. Celebration of Dennis’s life will be Saturday June 29, 2019 at 12:00 pm at 8285 Barth Rd, Lenexa, KS 66227. All are invited.

Dennis was born October 10, 1951 in Kansas City, KS, the son of Kent and Dorothy Paterson. Dennis married Janice Peterson July 7, 1972, they had three kids. Dennis owned his own business Paterson Computers for many years but his greatest joys were coaching his son’s baseball teams, fishing, hunting, working on cars, and taking his family on vacations. Dennis continued these joys when he became a Grandfather (Pa) to six wonderful grandchildren. Dennis was always called Pa, loved watching his grandkids play sports-even coached his oldest grandsons baseball team for two years, taking them fishing, showing them how to handle and shoot guns, and spending as much time as possible with them.

Dennis was preceded in death by his son Jeremy Paterson, his parents Kent and Dorothy Paterson, and two brothers Danny and Gary Paterson. He is survived by his wife Janice Paterson, two children Charles Paterson and Sarah Paterson, and six grandchildren Maliq, Noah, Jayden, Alexis, Baylee, and Jaycee!

Dennis was a loving husband amazing father and even more amazing Pa! The family would like to thank you all for the love and support you have shown!

I'm privileged to have gotten to know Pa through Sarah. It was him whom I shot my first gun with this past New Year's. He always had a big hug for me whenever I got to see him. I know without a doubt he was loved by many and many he loved in return. You all gained a wonderful guardian angel in him. Praying for peace, comfort, and strength. We love you guys. ~Amanda, Isaiah, Liam, & Gunner
