Kathy and I would like to express our condolences on the passing of Mr. Sixta. He was always Mr. Sixta to me growing up and hanging out with the family. Joe (Woody) his son was a very dear friend of mine during grade school and high school. Woody and we also car pooled during high school that was a car full!! Man Joe had alot of sisters! They were fun and the rides to Bishop Ward were quite gabby. I could see the Sixta house from my back yard on 54th street. I would go down to hang out with Woody and Mr and Mrs Sixta would be chilling watching T.V drinking "baby coors". They were both very nice and were always very interested in what Joe and I would be up to when we went out! Thinking of you at this time Steve and Kathy Kalcic

My condolences to all of Joe's family and friends. As a St. Joseph Church Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister, I first met Joe at Brookdale when taking Holy Communion to the Brookdale Catholic residents on Sunday mornings. It was always a joy spending time with Joe. I'll miss him. May Joe now be in the presence of our Lord and may our Lord bless you with his Peace.

Madonna, I'm so sorry to hear about Joseph's passing. You made such a big impression with me while working at the Brotherhood State Bank in the early 1960s.. May our precious Lord be with you and your family. May He cradle you all in His loving arms. God bless you.

We send out deepest sympathies for the Joe Sixta Family. We spent many fun family events at Barry and Shelly Sullivan's home where Joe regaled us with stories along with so many other family anecdotes full of humor and wisedom. This man will be missed, no doubt, but his spirit lives on in his beautiful family. Thanks for the memories, Joe. To the family, we love you all and wish God's blessings with fond memories of a dad, brother, uncle, grandpa, great grandpa and friend. Warren and Marianne

To Ruthie and the entire Sixta Family: Joe, though small in stature, left such a large legacy. He didn't do anything small, big farm, helped assembled GM cars, flying, his service to his country, and a great family that has brought so many gifts to the communities that they live in. Though gone physically, he lives on through you all. God's peace and grace to you all.
