I'm so sorry to hear this tragic news. Troy was my pledge brother and suite mate in Sigma Chi at Texas A&M. I was lucky to know him and had hoped to reconnect in the coming months during a reunion we were trying to plan. I had the pleasure of knowing Troy through stonhard and we have stayed in touch over the years when he made his transition from our construction management group to territory manager. Troy and I were best friends in middle school when his family was stationed at Ft Sam Houston, TX. He and I initially bonded over our love of cars and Car&Driver magazine, and our friendship took off from there. Troy was a GREAT friend - he was selfless, loyal, and always stuck up for his friends. I was not aware of Troy’s passing. I worked with Troy at Stonhard. I had lost his phone number in transition of a new phone and was thinking of him and wanted to give him a call. I came across his obituary searching the web for his phone number. During my time at Stonhard I got to train with and get to know Troy quite well. He was always so helpful and so positive. He sure was a lot of fun too. To say I was heartbroken when I saw he had passed was an understatement. He is now in a better place. God rest his soul and God bless his family.
