It is with a heavy heart I share the passing of one of my best buddies, Steve Jeselnik. Steve was a friend to all. He would give you the shirt off his back. No matter what he ever did it was done precisely and thoroughly. Whether it be planning a Hurricane Party (with real Pat O'Brians hurricane mix) or going to watch his beloved Jayhawks in football and basketball or handling a work project or sharing time with daughter Sarah (we were his buddies but Sarah was his life). Jesus has gotten a good one (another good Dotte off Strawberry Hill).

Toni & Kathie, You have my deepest sympathy for the loss of Steve. As my next door neighbor he was one of my fondest growing up memories was Steve. He was like a big brother, with lots of advice on any subject, but always in good fun. He related all is trials and triumphs from CTK, to Washington and the PSU years. Those memories are with me forever. He'll be missed but not forgotten.

I was saddened to hear about Steve's passing. We've been friends for many years and enjoyed our "Guys Night Out" excursions to Lawrence for dinner & a couple of beers with our Lawrence pals. Fortunately we were able to get the group together (at Steve's request) in late October. I truly enjoyed his company and was very glad we were friends all these years. I'll have some Hayward's burnt ends in your honor one of these days.

Evelyn and I will miss Steve dearly. Steve was one of the first people I met when I moved to Kansas City in 1985. We soon became good friends and I felt that he was a brother to me. Even though we left Kansas City in 2007, I talked to Steve at least twice a week every week since then. He had a heart of gold and was a true friend. I will miss him more than I can say. God rest his blessed soul.
