Caleb D. Addington, 21, Lenexa, KS formally of Tecumseh, KS passed away August 12, 2021 at Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Graveside Services will be Monday, August 16, 2021 at Pleasant Valley Cemetery, 9501 W. 159th St., Overland Park, KS at 3 PM. Friends may call on Sunday, August 15, 2021 from 2 to 4 PM at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia St., Lenexa Kansas. The family requests donations to the Shawnee Mission Northwest Football Booster Club in lieu of flowers please find link below.

Caleb was born January 27, 2000 in Topeka, KS. He lived in Tecumseh, KS until the age of nine when he moved to Lenexa KS. Caleb graduated from Shawnee Mission Northwest in 2018. During high school, he fell in love with playing football and excelled in the sport. He received Sunflower League honorable mention and was a leading wide receiver in the state of Kansas during his 2017-2018 senior season. Caleb was awarded a scholarship to Baker University to play football. He spent two years at Baker and was a member of the Delta Tau Delta fraternity. In December 2019, Caleb left Baker to pursue a career in the workforce. Most recently he was employed at Gail‘s Powersports in Grandview, MO as a parts sales man. Caleb was a very successful at his job and loved going to work every day. In May 2021 Caleb proudly purchase his first motorcycle. He found true love riding that motorcycle.

Caleb is survived by his mother Jeanette of Lenexa, his sister Kaitlyn of Lenexa, his brother Mark of Lenexa and his grandparents David and Belinda Kuntz of Lenexa. Extended family included numerous aunts uncles and cousins.
