Dear cousins, Your mom was a major influence to me throughout my life. I told her many times in recent years “when I grow up I want to be just like you.” She loved her family immensely, loved her church and her community, loved volunteering, loved cooking and growing flowers, loved sharing stories about all our relatives. There are many “Aunt Dot traditions” I adopted - baking a lot of Christmas cookies and candies to give as gifts, povitica, harvesting flower seeds to replant and share, keeping a button box, recycling gift wrapping paper and tissue.... I am praying for each of you, the grandchildren and great grandchildren in the days ahead. Lovingly, Marcia

Dorothy was a beautiful person, I admired greatly. As a child, I loved her warmth, humor and sense if fun and that didn't change one bit as I grew into an adult. She remained one of my favorites my whole life. Those who knew her, knew love. I will miss my sweet 2nd cousin and remember her ever so fondly.

Aunt Dottie was always one of my favorite people on earth. She was full of love and patience. She and Uncle Bob were always happy to stop what they were doing and visit with great hospitality. She encouraged all in what they loved - cooking, gardening, music, needlework, or sports - and was always interested in those who spent time with her. I will miss her cheerful smile. May she be at peace. To Carma, Robb, Dennis, Kevin, Brian and your families - you are in my thoughts and prayers. May you find comfort being together and knowing how many lives Dottie touched and how much she was loved.

Dear Brian and entire King Family, We are so sorry to hear about the passing of your Mother. What can we say? She was a very good woman and a friend to many. She always had the nicest compliments for everyone after church. Patty and I used to sing in the choir with your dad. He had an amazing voice. When we walked down the steps your mom always had a smile on her face. Like our mother she will be missed. They were so lucky to have each other and the wonderful parish of Saint Peters to raise their children. Her life should be celebrated! See you soon….
