Peter A Flegg (72) of Lenexa, Kansas passed away suddenly Saturday October 16, 2021. He was married to the love of his life Janet Flegg on October 23, 2004, in Wichita, KS and shared 17 years of love together.
He was born February 17, 1949, in Warragul, Victoria, Australia to Laurence and Irene Flegg. He attended the Dookie Agricultural College with a diploma in Agricultural Science and received his Bachelor of Science in Animal and Veterinary Service at the University of Maine. He retired from CEVA SANTE as an Animal Service Project Coordinator in 2016.
Peter loved traveling, bird watching, gardening, going on many walks with Mr. Raggs, and most of all spending time with his family. He will be remembered for his caring, funny, “always up for an adventure” personality.
He is survived by his wife, Janet of Lenexa, KS, step sons; Kenny (Kimberly) Pangburn of Smithville, MO, Jonny (Natalie) Pangburn of Wichita, KS, grandchildren; Natalie (Mark) Hodges of Oxford, MS, Kyle (Sarah) Martelle of Adelaide, Australia, Heather Stasa of Kingman, KS, Mariah Pangburn of Wichita, KS, Kristi (Paden) Phillips of Chanute, KS, great grandchildren; Wilfred and Alan Hughes, Hunter and Tensley Stasa, Graycelin Phillips, Maya and Lochlan Martelle, his sister Laures May of Adelaide, Australia, sisters in law Eileen Flegg of Warragul, Australia, Vicki (Ed) Wineland and Sherrie Bohlen both of Hutchinson, KS, nephews; Michael (Sherri) Flegg, Jeff Flegg and niece, Dianne (Matthew) Malacarne, all of Warragul, Australia and a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Preceded in death by his parents, Laurence and Irene Flegg and his brother Rodney Flegg.
Memorial service will be held on November 13th, 2021, at Porter Funeral Home, 8335 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66219. Family visitation at 1:00 PM, with service at 2:00 PM. Live streaming available at www.porterfuneralhome.com.
