I was saddened to see the notice of Dave's passing. I have fond memories of the Hochanadel's, the boys and their cars and Monica and her dolls. The night we were to move into this house, the a/c went out. Dave came down to fix it and indeed he did fix it!! It lasted another 20 years! A great guy never to be forgotten!

Brother ,Omaha ,Nebraska

Dave has been a trusted friend and mentor for me all my life. He was the quintessential family man who, along with Lyla, could be counted on to attend as many weddings and happy events as they could. And they did. Dave inspired me and opened my eyes to what I never dreamt about. Dave made all of us laugh and he could laugh. Just watching him laugh at a good joke until he had tears running down was and is a very happy memory. Dave was all that but one other thing. Dave could be counted on if you were in trouble or had tough times.I will miss my big brother. He was one of a kind. Irreplaceable.

we are so sorry to hear of the loss of Uncle Dave. We are lucky and blessed to have many happy memories of him. We appreciate all he did for the family, such as the family tree, the addresses, calling to check in on mom and dad, calling to let us know when someone was in the hospital, and just calling to say hello - that he was thinking about his sister Rosalie and all of us. We know he will never be forgotten, that he will always be with us. We know there is a big party and reunion happening in heaven. We are grateful for the time we had with Uncle Dave. Please know you all are in our thoughts and prayers, with love and sympathy, Tom, Denise, Michelle and family
