Ruth M. Bowman, 94, of Kansas City, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, March 30, 2022. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM Tuesday, April 5, 2022 at Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovia Street, Lenexa, KS. Funeral Mass will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, April 6, at the Queen of the Holy Rosary 7023 West 71st Street Overland Park, KS 66204;  Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Kansas City,  Kansas. Memorial contributions may be made to the family before or after the service. Ruth was born January 28, 1928, in Catmon, Cebu, Philippines. She is survived by her children Marius Montecillo, Val Roldan, Rowena Young, Earl Bowman, her many many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. Proceeded in life by her husband John Bowman, son Ray Roldan, and daughter Joan Roldan.  She loved her family dearly and will be missed. Through her life she was many things. A teacher, a state trooper, a mother, a grandmother, and an excellent pianist. She loved to make rosaries and crochet when she wasn't spending her time playing the piano.
