Linda K. Cochran, 79, Olathe, KS passed away September 9, 2022. The visitation and celebration of life will be held from 2-3 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at the Porter Funeral Home, 8535 Monrovoia, Lenexa, KS. Linda was born February 15th, 1943, in Wellington, KS to Laurence and Mary Frances Maris. Linda enjoyed being with her family, gardening, cooking and had a love for books. She is survived by her husband, William (Bill) Cochran, daughter Debi Moore, son Daniel Crapo, three grandchildren Taylor, Ethan and Emorey, five great grandchildren, two sisters Diane McCoy and Nancy Wheeler, and brother Richard (Dick) Maris.  She was preceded in death by her parents, a son David Crapo, and grandson, Ezkial Crapo.

 

In lieu of flowers the family requests that you make a donation to the American Lung Association.

She loved each of you very much and I am sure you will find Linda dancing in heaven with all the pain gone that she suffered the last few years. To Linda’s Family, What a wonderful childhood I had growing up with the Marris kids. We played in the cow tank with the huge gold fish, played tag in the big yard and hid in the hay barn. Speaking of barns remember Linda’s black eyes? Your mother was a wonderful cook and I think you girls all have that talent, too.
