There are no words that can express anything that could possibly heal the hurt that you all are going through right now. All I can say, from what I know in my heart to be true, is that the world beyond this one is something pretty spectacular and Caryn deserves spectacular. Caryn always made me feel heard and seen, which is a gift that not many people have. I loved how down to earth she was, and always felt like I was in good company. If you find yourself in need of any type of assistance, we would love to help. All our Love Colleen and Jim

Caryn was the fun, the heartbeat of Missys’ Boutique. She loved her patients so much and they loved her. Always willing to do whatever necessary to make our patients feel safe, comfortable and leave with a smile. We will all miss her especially this year ; at Art Couture KC Fundraiser. Caryn loved visiting and telling all the doctors there the services we offer. She would come to my cubicle and leave names on my desk of healthcare workers I should call and introduce MB to. Caryn made it clear she only wanted PT work. She loved her family and wanted time with them, especially her new grandson. With one final thought; I must say here on earth Caryn Job Well Done. We all love and will miss you forever. Your Missys’ Boutique fan club

I met Caryn in 1984 and instantly liked her chic style, no nonsense attitude and great laugh. We witnessed each other’s lives- weddings, babies, birthdays, illness, career changes, and new homes. We played bunko and swam at her home. We laughed at couples’ dinners, girls’ lunches and holiday parties. Her friendship was a gift I’ll always treasure. I pray that her family finds comfort in her enduring spirit.

Caryn was a blessing to all who knew her. She could plan, host and be the life of any party. She carried that spirit with her daily. It was her smile and vivacious way of taking on life that drew people to her. And for those of us that were lucky to know her well, we saw how she balanced that life with the grace she showed to all in need whether it be a family, friend, or a stranger. Along with her honest opinion that she usually gave with a laugh and smile. And some of her most beautiful smiles came when she was with her sweet grand baby Scottie. She taught me many things, but most of all was what it looked like to be a good mother and friend. I was honored to see Rick, Mallory and Andrew, Shelby and Mike, show that same loving grace as they took care of her this past year. Sending prayers and love to you all!

Caryn and I were friends in school and she was my Maid of Honor. Even though we lost touch over the years she was never forgotten. I love the memories of us trying to play tennis, we never did manage to succeed at it. My deepest condolences to the family.

Dear Rick, Mallory and Shelby and family, We were deeply shocked and saddened by this news. It feels surreal, and our hearts and hugs are with you during this difficult time. Memories of Caryn and her infectious laughter flood our minds. One cherished memory stands out among the rest: the time we were living at The Villa on the Hilla. After seeing a movie, Audrey and I brought home a new hamster. Meanwhile, Caryn was frantic with worry due to tornadoes touching down in Bonner Springs. Reassured of our safety, a sudden scream from Audrey alarmed us all. Thinking something terrible had happened, I rushed downstairs, still on the phone with Caryn, only to find Audrey exclaiming, "The hamster is missing a leg!" Caryn, ever quick-witted, responded, "Name him Tripod." And so, Tripod became our beloved pet. May Caryn's light continue to shine brightly as she becomes a radiant star in Heaven. With Love Renee and Audrey
