Nov 05, 1965---Apr 14, 2024

Patricia (Trish) Ann (Mulvany) Arnold peacefully transitioned to her eternal rest in heaven on April 14, 2024, surrounded by her loving family.

Trish was born the sixth and self-proclaimed favorite child to Blake and Rose Ann (McGuire) Mulvany on November 5, 1965. She was a proud alumna of Bishop Ward High School in Kansas City, Kansas where she excelled early in sports and later as an officer in the Pep Club.

Upon graduation, Trish’s professional career was marked by a profound commitment to serving others. She spent years climbing the corporate ladder in professional staffing services. Trish then worked alongside her father at the Gardner Institute, where she played a pivotal role in the inception of the Catholic Education Foundation (CEF). Her career later led her to St. Thomas Aquinas High School, Bishop Ward High School, Corpus Christi Elementary School, Horizon Academy, and Camp Quality USA where she served in various development roles, leaving an indelible mark on each institution. Trish’s laughter and warmth filled the halls of these institutions and organizations while her work provided resources allowing those communities to grow and prosper.

Trish’s passion for life was found with the birth of her three beloved boys Michael, Steven, and Matthew. Trish raised her boys with all the love, joy, and affection a mother could possibly offer. She was each boy’s biggest fan raising them to be strong, successful men. Her boys and their growing families were the center of Trish’s universe.

Trish met the love her life in Keith Wayne Arnold. The two were married and shared over 20 years of happiness. In Keith, Trish found her best friend who loved her unconditionally, was steadfast in his devotion to her, and provided loving care for Trish throughout their lives together.

Her passion for children was taken to a whole new level with the birth of her four grandchildren. Trish took the title of “Mimi” and showered her grandchildren with gifts, long hugs, overnight stays, and laughter that filled each of their hearts. Each of her grandchildren carry the best of Trish in their every smile and act of kindness.

Trish is proceeded in death by her father, Blake Baker Mulvany, her mother Rose Ann Mulvany, siblings Patrick Mulvany, Megan Mulvany, and Daniel Joseph Mulvany. She is survived by: her husband, Keith Wayne Arnold; her children Michael  Mulvany Walker, Steven Joseph Walker (Darian), and Matthew Blaise Walker (Hunter), Wayne Allen Arnold (Shelly), Thomas Bradley Arnold, Carri Laverne Johnson (Derrick); her grandchildren Aiden Joseph Walker, Emma Rose Walker, Blakely Anne Walker, Remington Matthew Walker, Kiefer Arnold, Aubrey Arnold, Dylan Johnson, Brittney Arnold, Ashley Mire, Jake Arnold, Malachi Arnold, and Wayne Arnold, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Rowan Arnold, Kayden Arnold, Brailey Mire, and Zeila Mire; and, her siblings Kevin Mulvany (Mary), Timothy Mulvany (Sandy), Michael Mulvany, Lisa Kohnle (Craig), Rose Mulvany Henry (John), Kelly Mulvany, and Ryan Mulvany (Andrea).

A celebration of Trish’s life will be held on April 23, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 5501 Monticello Road, Shawnee, Kansas 66226 at 11:00 am, with a visitation prior beginning at 9:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Sisters, Servants of Mary, Corpus Christi Catholic School, Horizon Academy, or Catholic Community Hospice. Donations may be sent directly to the organizations or to Porter Funeral Home.

No "Goodbye," only "See You Again." Trish, you were a Force. Always full of spirit, laughter, hope, humor, grace, encouragement, sass, spice, compassion, patience...and FUN. Oh, so much fun. You had the most contagious laugh and you were so incredibly fun to laugh with at anything and nothing! I can never repay you for all of the selfless things you did for me and my family when we moved here. Kansas City honestly feels less brighter for me now. I can't really explain. I will miss you. Thank you. And I love you. See You Again, Lori

I worked with Trish at Horizon Academy. She was such a positive force, always ready with a smile and friendly acknowledgements. She made a difference for our students and families, increasing awareness of the mission of our school, and applying her talents to help build our scholarship program. She was always incredibly generous in her words and her actions. She made a profound difference on the world, in so many ways.

My heart is broken. I loved Trish from the first moment I met her at Corpus Christi. She was the brightest shining star always ready to help and never let me down. I hope the Good Lord is ready for this amazing Angel! Heaven will be rejoicing with laughter and love as they greet the most magnificent woman I was lucky to call my friend. I'm sending her family all my hugs and prayers to help get them through this difficult time. May the pain ease over time, especially because I know how much she missed her Mom and Dad. I love you Trish...rest in peace.

What a joy it was to know Trish Arnold! Open in her love for her family, her job, and colleagues, Trish could be counted on to make good things happen. I witnessed her compassion on more than one occasion and saw her tears when someone she cared for was hurt. And, I laughed with her multiple times over funny and absurd things we experienced. A great giver of gifts, a fierce protector of those she loved, and with a huge heart, Trish will be fondly remembered by many people, including me. Karen Davies

I am so sorry for your families loss. Tricia was a very good friend of my little sister Veronica. I remember them always being a bunch of giggly little girls and Trisha always being the leader. I Can just see them now, running around and following her like a pack of little mice I know she’s leading everyone around now in heaven

In loving memory of Trish. Her unwavering support and dedication was the glue that held our team together for many years. Her candor, honesty, and sense of humor were gifts that enriched us all. I am forever grateful for the years we spent working side-by-side, and I still cherish memories of our time together. Rest in peace, dear friend.

An exceptional lady taken far too soon. Trish embodied the best part of every friend big sister stand in, confidante and babysitter (!) you could imagine. There was more than comfort when Trish was in your corner...she had your back, your front and all the areas surrounding you. She took charge when needed and her quick smooch and "love ya" goodbyes were her way of saying "you've got this kid, now go do it." There is no doubt that she is at peace and coordinating/hosting all the reunions in heaven. I am so sorry she is not here for her family anymore , but so happy she is no longer suffering and reunited her parents.
