Kathleen Pennington (Kotecki) of Camdenton, MO, passed away peacefully at the age of 81 on the evening of July 19th, 2024.
Kathleen was proud to have worked for over 30 years as a systems analyst at John Deere of Moline, IL. She, along with her husband, Burgess, retired from the Quad Cities to Lake of the Ozarks, MO and enjoyed a beautiful view of the lake for many years. Kathy loved to ride her wave runner and watch the Packers play on Sundays! She and Burgie enjoyed music and going to concerts and clubs their whole lives, as well as supporting their children in their musical, and other, endeavors. Kathy also had a place in her heart for dogs of all shapes and sizes, and enjoyed the companionship of her rescued toy poodle Freddy, complete with snuggles and cuddles just hours before her spirit moved on from it’s earthly host.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Burgess Pennington, her parents, Stanley and Genevieve Kotecki, her brother Damian Kotecki and her brother, Robert Kotecki.
Kathleen is survived by her sister Jenny Doss (Greg), daughter Christine Wallace (Rick), and son Joel Pennington (Thea), as well as her grandchildren AnnMarie, Aaron and Danielle, and great grandchild, Harvey.
