Hi, I just saw Barb’s obituary and am so sorry for your loss. I met Barb in 2018 when she was on our Passages program from Kansas City Hospice and Palliative Care. Barb was the most determined person I have ever met. She amazed me at what she had accomplished as her health declined. She always had a smile on her face when I came to visit. I would pick up McDonald’s or Goodcents but her latest favorite was Sonic. We would eat lunch, visit and have some chocolate, she loved her chocolate I hope your love and memories will ease your pain during this time. Debbie McWatters

Barb was a wonderful friend and inspiration to me and my daughter, Kelly. We got to know Barb when we worked in activities at Lamar Ct. I was blessed by her friendship. We went on trips in her van, often out to coffee or dr. appts., sometimes to a park. I am grateful for her friendship and appreciate knowing now, after her funeral, how many lives she blessed and what odds she overcame as she lived her life to the fullest.
