Elaine Marie Campbell 67, passed away on November 18, 2025. Elaine was born on October 16, 1958 in Kansas City, KS. She graduated from Bishop Ward High School in 1976. Soon after high school, she worked as a monitor tech and CNA at Providence Medical Center for over 30 years.

Elaine leaves behind her daughter, Tamara Campbell (Adam), KCK. Granddaughter, Aubrey Brown, KCK. Siblings, David Ryan, Mound City, KS. Dennis Ryan (Elaine), Crestview, FL. Tom Ryan (Lisa), Bonner Springs, KS. Kathleen Hanson (Gary), KCK. Karen Rowland (Larry), Camdenton, MO. Jeanne Sutton (Ronnie), KCK. And several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Campbell; parents, John and Rose Mary Ryan; siblings, Stephen Ryan and Susan Ryan.

Elaine was a beautiful soul and had a wonderful live and let live attitude. She was always ready to have a good time and had an unfathomable positive outlook on life. She never complained about anything, even when she was in pain. She will forever be missed by everyone who was fortunate enough and blessed to know her... and knowing her was to love her.

Many thanks to the good people at Providence Place and Amedisys Hospice Care, that took such good care of Elaine in her final days.

Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025 at Porter Funeral Home, 1835 Minnesota Ave., Kansas City, KS 66102.  In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to Amedisys Hospice Care.

To the Campbell family and Ryan family, my sincere condolences. Elaine was always so bright and such an amazing woman. There was never a dull moment with her. She will be sincerely missed. To Tamara I love you and just know that you have so many people here that you can lean on for support. I will always be here for you. She is with Michael now and they both can watch over you both. I know the days are gonna be hard but remember the good Times, know that you have people here with you that are cheering you on and ready to walk by your side. To the Ryan Family, May your family find strength, peace and comfort during this difficult time. Although we haven’t been in touch since high school, I remember her as fun, always happy and a wonderful classmate. Her smile was infectious. May you enjoy your memories when remembering Elaine.
