Webster L. Ryan, 75, passed away suddenly at home on Sunday, April 11, 2026.

Born on February 11, 1951, in Prairie Village, Kansas, Webster was the son of George W. Ryan and Dorothy E. Ryan.

He spent the majority of his career as the owner and President of Superior Surface Solutions, LLC, formerly KC Construction Supply, LLC. Webster earned the respect of colleagues and clients alike for his deep industry knowledge, strong work ethic, and the integrity he brought to his work. His professional legacy is reflected not only in his accomplishments, but in the many relationships he built along the way.

Outside of his career, Webster took great pleasure in the life he created. He cherished time with his girlfriend and partner, Mara Garton. He had a lifelong love of horseback riding, traveling countless mountain trails and finding peace in nature from the saddle. He also enjoyed working on his property and spending time at Weatherby Lake. A devoted collector, Webster took great pride in his wine collection, which brought him joy through shared moments with friends and family.

He will be remembered as a man who valued hard work, loyalty, and the simple joys of time well spent with those he loved.

Webster is survived by his girlfriend and partner, Mara Garton; his brothers, Terence (Claudia) and Patrick (Susan); his sister, Shelia (Paul); his nephews, Daniel and Tom; his niece, Cynthia (Harald); and his cousin, Linda Grace.
